About

It is the intent and purpose to instill in the players, parents, coaches and directors the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect. The Association is determined to teach poise and character to all those involved as it relates to activities occurring on or off the field of play, and to build healthier bodies and stronger minds of our youth, at the same time teaching them about fair play and sportsmanship. The purpose, for which this Association has been formed, is to develop and promote community interest in the sport of football; to provide opportunities for participation in organized football to all children, and to provide training in football fundamentals.

Additionally, it is the intent of the Association to prepare its players to be ready to play football for Mount Olive High School. High School head football coach, Coach O’Connor has a very involved, hands on training program that begins with the younger leagues on all levels, “Junior Marauder feeder program” and prepares the children for high school.  In addition to training,  children will be taught the basics and fundamentals of the offense, defense, and special teams that may be used by the High School coaching staff.

The Mt. Olive Jr. Marauders Football Association is a youth football organization, operated by volunteer parents, coaches, and interested adults. Any resident of Mt. Olive Township may become a member. The Association is a non-profit organization, which is independent of the township and school system. Funds for equipment and uniforms are obtained through registration fees, fundraisers, as well as private and corporate donations. Association meetings are open to all interested individuals and we encourage you to attend and get involved!  They are held on the first Thursday of every month from May – December.  Your input can make a difference!

All Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches pass Certification tests and background checks.
